What it is
What paint protection film does
A Full Front install takes about 3 days and a Full Body install 5 to 7. Every package comes in gloss or matte, every panel is mapped and the film is cut to fit your car, and we quote each car separately.
Paint protection film (PPF) is a clear, self-healing urethane layer that bonds to your paint. It takes the rock chips on the highway, door dings, bug etching, road salt, brake dust and wash scratches, so they don't reach your factory finish.
Gloss film deepens your factory color. Matte film turns any paint to a stealth finish.
Installed in a climate-controlled shop, the film is invisible to anyone who doesn't know to look. As an authorized Autobahn installer, we run Incognito X for gloss and Stärke for matte. Both are self-healing.

What's the difference between gloss and matte PPF?
Both are clear, self-healing films with the same impact protection. The difference is the look. Gloss (Autobahn Incognito X) is optically clear and deepens your factory color. Matte (Autobahn Stärke) flattens any paint to a satin stealth finish and carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Stärke can also turn a glossy car matte, or protect a factory matte finish that can't be safely polished.
Will the film yellow over time?
The film we install is engineered with UV-resistant top coats to resist yellowing for the life of the film. Older PPF technologies from a decade ago had this problem.
Can the film be removed later?
Properly installed PPF can be removed without damaging the underlying paint. The paint underneath is protected from oxidation and fading while the film is on, so it often looks better than the surrounding panels.
How long does PPF last?
Properly installed and cared for, PPF typically lasts 10+ years. As long as the film is intact and bonded to the paint, it's working.
Can I wash my car normally after PPF?
Yes, once the film has cured, typically 48 to 72 hours after install. Hand washing with pH-neutral soap is best. Touchless automatic car washes are fine. Avoid pressure washing the film edges directly during the first month.
How much does paint protection film cost?
PPF cost varies by vehicle, package and condition. We quote each car separately, and most quotes come back the same day.
