What it is
A ceramic coating takes about 3 to 5 days at our shop on Schoolcraft Rd in Livonia, because the paint correction your car needs comes first. Most cars come in the morning, and the quote includes an exact timeline.
A ceramic coating is a clear, hardened layer that bonds chemically to your clear coat and replaces wax. Once cured, it gives a gloss wax never reaches, sheds water and contaminants on contact, and resists chemical etching from bird droppings, brake dust and tree sap.
Washing is easier and maintenance is light.
Every coating job starts with decontamination and the level of paint correction your finish needs. We assess it when the car arrives, scope it before we start and walk you through it. We don't apply a coating onto a flawed surface, because that locks in the imperfections.

Coating tiers
Both are nano-ceramic coatings with paint correction included. They differ in hardness and in how long DYNFX backs them: Leicht at 9H for three years, Keramik X at 10H for five.

Yes. Water beads and sheds off coated paint. Dirt has a harder time bonding to a coated surface, which is why washing is faster and easier.
Yes, but less often and more easily. The coating doesn't repel dirt entirely. It prevents dirt from bonding. Regular hand washing with pH-neutral soap is best. We recommend annual maintenance with us to inspect the coating and refresh the top layer if needed.
